but, we managed to escape unscathed and intact (I never was too fond of that 49er hat anyhow!) and moved on to Louisiana.  Stay tuned for the next exciting installment, Chuck and Kalyn

Farewell Texas!!  We finally escaped the confines of the Lone Star state and slipped into Louisiana.  Prior to our departure, we managed a bayou tour on an airboat out of Orange, Texas.   I was a little concerned after seeing who our “pilot” was . . .

Okay, so things did get a bit more disturbing . . .

But, what the hell, this was as scary as it would get . . . right!!??
