Howdy from the deeep south - Texas, that is!   Welp, we finally did it . . . we have been Texified.  New license plates, drivers licenses and we’re even registered to vote . . .

We left Livingston yesterday and arrived here in Galveston a couple of hours later.  We actually drove about 100 miles yesterday (a near record for us).   We normally only move about 50 miles at a time and then root ourselves for a week or so.   Galveston is an island that is 3 miles wide and about 31 miles long.   We’ll be taking off in a bit to do some exploring.  We’ll write more later and include some pics of the island.   Hugs all around, the Texas Twosome
