Galloping Geezers
Naturally we stuck around for Halloween and even managed to snap a picture or two of some of the “more interesting” ghosts and goblins!
Greetings Earthlings November 6, 2000
The local Elks lodge put together a “Spook Trail” over Halloween and had every kid out here from a 50 mile radius. We decided to take some time off from the rigors of motorhome life and spent a couple of nights in New Orleans in a bed that didn’t have wheels attached to it . . .
I found out early on that these girls will do just about anything for a string of beads. I guess they never learned anything from that Manhatten Purchase!
Greetings, Earthlings! Here we are in Slidell, Louisiana, about 40 miles north of New Orleans. We’re staying at our local Elks lodge in an area surrounded by ancient oaks covered with Spanish Moss . . .
And some of the girls were definitely prettier then others! We’ll probably be leaving today or tomorrow for the Mississippi Gulf Coast and then on to Alabama. See y’all soon. Hugs and smooches, Chuck and Kalyn
